 "The Game Plan"

This weekend is fast-paced! Timing will be important and you won’t want to miss anything so be prepared to hit the ground running.

The Game begins a week out from play with an onboarding exercise participants receive via email.  The exercise is designed to get you started thinking about projects and ideas.

The Game weekend kicks off Friday evening at 6:00 pm with an introduction to The Game,  followed by a “working” pot luck dinner from 6:30 to 7:15 after which participants will have the opportunity to “pitch” an idea to the group for a project they would like to develop and fund over the weekend.

Projects will be picked and teams formed Friday evening.  You’ll also be inspired by The Art of Collaboration lead by Laurence who will share amazing stories of successful community collaboration projects.   Friday also includes an introduction to Project Management (PM) in 20.  PM in 20 upskills you in the latest tools for project management through a mix of whole group trainings and optional 20 minute skillshares. Friday night you will fill out a “self-evaluation” to determine which of the optional skillshares you need to take. These will be offered Saturday during the day.   And last, you will explore Tipu Ake group collaboration principles.

Once complete at 9 pm you will have “stretch time”, an opportunity to stay and begin discussing your projects until 10:30 pm.

Saturday is a full day.  You’ll do breakout skillshares, whole group learning, World Café, project management, collaboration, and community mapping exercises to get your projects really on track and ready for Sunday’s Money Unlimited!!

Sunday morning is all about Money Unlimited featuring three games to show you creative ways to fund your projects and dreams.  Sunday afternoon is all about working on projects and Sunday evening sharing back progress, needs, wants and desires.

This "Game Plan" is subject to change.
